What is SFC?
Structured Family Caregiving is a Medicaid-funded program in Indiana that allows family members to receive financial support for caring for a loved one at home. Instead of placing someone in a facility, this program helps keep them where they’re most comfortable—at home with the people they trust. Caregivers receive a monthly stipend, along with ongoing guidance and support.

You get set up as a caregiver
Once you’re approved, CARE Team helps you complete the caregiver setup process. We guide you through the required steps and make sure everything is in place so you can begin confidently.
You start receiving weekly support stipend
Once everything is in place, you’ll begin receiving a weekly stipend for the care you provide. CARE Team continues to support you along the way, so you always have guidance when you need it.
